Facebook Time-Saver: Reply to Notifications by Email

by Brett Owens on January 19th, 2010

You won't have to login to this page as often anymore...

One of the most annoying things about Facebook has been that you needed to sign into your profile in order to reply to notifications, such as a wall post or a comment related to a photo.

Good news: you can now reply to notifications straight from your email client.

In order to use the new feature, just include the content of your reply in the body of the email and hit “Reply.” That message will instantly appear under the wall post, comment, or whatever else.

I’m wondering now if an implementation is planned for the messaging feature of Facebook, too, because as of now it doesn’t yet appear to be active…

So, a small time saving victory for Facebook fans…helping you waste a little less time social networking.
